We are close enough to the city that trips to the arcades (Lauben) or the Ötzi Museum are possible in a heartbeat—yet we are far enough away to leave the bustle and noise of the valley floor behind.
For active vacationers, our winery is the ideal starting point. Thanks to our central location in the heart of South Tyrol, you can reach the cable cars to Ritten, the hiking paradise of Sarntal, or the South Tyrolean Wine Road in no time. Whether it’s an alpine mountain tour or a Mediterranean stroll at Lake Caldaro—all paths are open to you from St. Magdalena, while your retreat in the vineyards always awaits your return.

It is no coincidence that one of the country's most famous wines grows here. The southern exposure of our slopes, the loose moraine soils, and the mild climate form the perfect terroir for the St. Magdalener wine. The warm air of the Bolzano basin meets the cool descending winds of the mountains—a climatic specialty that you can taste in every grape and that makes our work as winemakers so passionate.
St. Magdalena is not a classic village; it is a matured cultural landscape. The farms nestle into the steep slopes as harmoniously as if they were part of nature itself.
